Named after the five-time Le Mans winner, the R8 offers all the edgy lust of an Italian supercar - the right curves, sexy looks and a low swung roofline. The 24 day time running LED lights inspired by the Sydney Opera house look stunning. A long sweeping hood followed by a roof that gently flows into the rear uncovers the massive V8 engine that sits below a distinctive transparent engine cover. The contrasting silver side blades might look out of place but they have been designed with a purpose - to chuck air into the 4.2-liter 420PS engine.

Riding is an exciting activity many people are becoming so enthusiast with. In some areas, it may also become the best way to refresh mind while having the wind flowing...
Mitsubishi has revised the styling of its ageing saloon inside out and to put it straight, the Cedia Sports looks striking. A new sleek front grille with horizontal slats has replaced the older rather feminine looking one. They have also added sporty front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a rear spoiler. Another (very) noticeable change is the 15-inch alloy wheels from OZ. Interestingly, unlike many of its competitors, Mitsubishi has provided OZ alloys even for the spare wheel. The only disappointment is the new graphic decals (spare the Ralliart decal, please) that do not look very artistic.
The Hyundai i20 takes on the Skoda Fabia, which again is powered by a 1.4-litre diesel engine and has been the best in its class so far. So how does this comparison come through? Let us judge the cars based on five parameters that are essential for a car in this segment.A person purchasing a premium hatch is by no means going to compromise on styling. Hyundai designed and engineered the i20 in Germany making sure that it was dressed in the modern philosophy of flowing lines and aggression combined with elegance.
Few know that the Punto came as an angel in disguise for FIAT and saved it from worldwide bankruptcy when it was launched overseas a couple of years back. It has the right mix of ingredients that buyers were looking for in a hatch. The car livened up a segment that had till date been associated with boring and dull cars. What you get with the Ritz though is peace of mind and of course savings of almost ninety grand! Marutis legendary reliability, after sales support, the largest workshop network in India and strong resale values too cannot be overlooked. Picking the Punto is one of those decisions that are made by your heart. But the Ritz makes practical sense out of the two here plus being cheaper means it whisks past its Italian counterpart as our winner.
